Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday fixed the fee for COVID test in private laboratories.
For RT-PCR (real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) test, a person has to deposit Rs 2200 (including GST).
For the RT-PCR test, the state government has given permission to four private laboratories in Bhubaneswar. They are Apollo Hospitals, Sum Hospital, InDNA Life Sciences Private Ltd and GenX Diagnostics.
These four private laboratories can conduct the RT-PCR test under the guidance of the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC).
Any person can undergo the test after depositing the fee fixed by the state government.
