Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday constituted a committee to engage with various knowledge institutions, experts and technology companies to provide strategic direction and measures to deal with the situation arising out of the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department, Principal Secretary, Finance, Ashok K K Meena will be the chairman of the committee. The other members are Principal Secretary, Industries & MSME, Hemant Sharma; Sports & YS Secretary and and OSO to Chief Secretary (COVID Management) Vishal Kumar Dev;
Secretary, Electronics and JT, Manoj Mishra; representative of Health and Family Welfare Department and Sports Director and OSO to Chief Adviser (CM’s Office COVID Management) R. Vineel Krishna.
The committee can co-opt any member from government or non-governmental
organisations and can also engage any consultancy firm or consultants with relevant
domain knowledge, the notification added.
