Bhubaneswar: Concerned over the sudden rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts, the Odisha government on Tuesday formed three rapid response teams (RRTs) to visit these districts to take stock of the situation.
As per the order by the principal secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Nikunja Bihari Dhal, a technical team of the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack will visit Jajpur district while another medical team of the Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital will visit Balasore and Bhadrak districts.
Besides, the director, Health, and the director, Public Health, will visit Balasore and Bhadrak districts respectively while the director, Family Welfare, will visit Jajpur district.
The specialist doctors and senior health officials have been directed to oversee the implementation of the lockdown guidelines in the containment zones in these districts.
