Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday gave permission for the increase of seats in Plus II streams.
The government in a letter directed the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education to allow junior colleges to increase seats.
The colleges can apply online for the same through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal within seven days.
Notably, a total of 5,62,010 students had cleared the annual Matric examinations. However, considering the total number of 4,43,354 Plus II seats in the state, there was a statewide demand to increase them.
