Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday hiked the dearness allowance (DA) of its employees and Dearness Relief (TI) of its pensioners by 2 per cent.
With this hike, the overall DA of the state government employees has gone up to 9 per cent.
The employees and the pensioners will get the revised DA and TI with effect from July 1, 2018.
Along with the government employees, the work charge employees and the teachers and staff of the fully-aided non-government colleges will also be benefited from the hike, a release from the office of the Chief Minister said.
