Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has sought detailed information regarding infrastructure available in the degree colleges and Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) across the state.
According to sources, the department of Higher Education has written to all the degree colleges and TEIs asking them to send detailed reports about their available infrastructure.
The objective behind seeking such a report is to enhance the campus environment and overall learning experience, said the letter sent by the department.
“The primary objective of the assessment is to gain a thorough understanding of the current state of physical facilities available at the institutions, improvements required, potential challenges, and opportunities that can help to strategically plan for the enhancement of our campus environment and overall learning experience for students all over the state,” it said.
“In view of the above, you along with governing body/management committee of the institute are, therefore, requested to assess the available infrastructure of the college and basic requirements (if any) and to submit the information in the Google sheet format, which will be shared with your college mail id shortly for further necessary action at this end,” it added.
The principals of the degree colleges and TEIs have been asked to submit the complete information in the Google sheet by August 14, the sources added.
