Bhubaneswar: The High Education department on Wednesday directed the government universities and colleges besides non-government colleges under its jurisdiction to carry out the official works with 50 per cent of the present staff from July 1 to August 31.
The employees, who will not be required to come to the institutions, must remain accessible over phone and be ready to attend the office at short notice, the order said.
In case of the office campus or building being used as quarantine centre or COVID hospital, the authorities were directed to ensure that the employees carry out their official work from another campus.
