Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has issued guidelines for statewide awareness programme “Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha (Sahari)” to be started from January 22 to sensitise people on schemes and programmes under 5T Initiative.
Sangramjit Nayak, Director, Municipal Administration, in a letter to all district collectors, project directors of DUDAs, commissioners of municipal corporations and executive officers of municipalities & NACs, said the awareness programme under UNNATKI would continue till February 7. It aims at ensuring that the benefits of the welfare schemes reach the eligible and deserving people.
The programme also seeks to ensure transparency and accountability in distribution of benefits as well as empower the people by providing information on the government schemes. Various camps will be organised as part of the Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha (Sahari) programme.
Nayak advised the officials to follow the guidelines, issued by the Housing & Urban Development department for organising the event. Following are main features of the guidelines:
