Bhubaneswar: In order to give a boost to the Mo School Abhiyan under the School and Mass Education department, the state government has come out with an incentive scheme.
It has been decided at a high-level meeting that total 100 schools of the state with 2-3 schools selected from each district will be brought under the scheme. Besides improving the infrastructure, steps will be taken to improve the quality of education and development of smart classroom in those schools with the Mo School fund.
While the profile data of all the students will be documented, the students can take the help of alumni, if they wish. Ministers, MLAs, MPs and officials concerned will visit the targeted schools to review the progress of the project.
The students with special skill in academics, drawing, music and sports will be identified and trained by experts in their respective fields. Each expert will train 2 students.
The teachers, who will make significant contribution to the scheme, will be felicitated at least once in a year. The teachers and officials with outstanding performance during the Abhiyan will be congratulated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on January 14.
