Bhubaneswar: In order to boost up milk production and strengthen dairy cooperatives, the Odisha government has formulated a new scheme “Mukhyamantri Kamadhenu Yojana”, said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday.
Speaking at “Monsoon Meet” of Central government’s Animal Husbandry and Milk Production department in Bhubaneswar, Majhi said his government in cooperation with the Central government has taken several steps for promotion of fisheries and animal husbandry and financial growth of small farmers.
Besides Kamadhenu Yojana, the government will implement “Pranisampad Samruddhi Yojana” and “Gomata Yojana” for improvement in health condition of the cattle, he said.
