Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has identified 26 centres for holding the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET)-2021 for admission into post-graduate courses in state public universities and colleges.
The entrance test will begin on August 23 and end on September 3.
The Higher Education Department notified that CPET-2021 will be held in 11 state-run universities, one government degree college and 14 autonomous degree colleges.
The 11 universities where the test will be held are Utkal University, Rama Devi Women’s University, Ravenshaw University, Berhampur University, Khallikote University, Sambalpur University, Gangadhar Meher University, Fakir Mohan University, Kalahandi University, Rajendra University and Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University.
The 14 autonomous degree colleges are Government College, Angul, Fakir Mohan College, Balasore; Bhadrak Autonomous College, Bhadrak; Sailabala Women’s College, Cuttack; Dhenkanal College, Dhenkanal; SKCG Autonomous College, Paralakhemundi, NC College, Jajpur, Government Autonomous College, Phulbani; DD College, Keonjhar, BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar; Raja Vikram Dev College, Jeypore; MPC College, Baripada; SCS College, Puri and Government College, Rourkela.
Besides, the test will also be conducted in the Sashi Bhusan Rath Government Women’s Degree College, Berhampur.
The Department has directed the selected centres to submit details of their bank accounts by August 13. It will then credit the money for expenditure for holding the entrance test.
