Odisha Govt Nominates Six Members To Utkal University

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has nominated six members to the syndicate of Utkal University in the city following the approval of the Governor who is the chancellor of universities.

The nominated members are former executive director (R&D Business Development) of Nalco Bijay Kumar Satpathy; Head of the Department of History, Utkal University Prof Jayanti Dora; former chairman of the Utkal University PG Council Prof Samsan Maharana; Head of the Department of Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) Prof Santosh Kumar Tripathy; Head of the Department of MBA Prof Bidhu Bhusan Mishra and Prof Pushpanjali Jena of the Department of Library and Information Science.

The tenure of the nominated syndicate members will be either four years or till their retirement whichever is earlier, according to a Higher Education department release.
