Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has set up a Central Command Control Centre for first response and effective coordination during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas-2025 to be held in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 10.
The control centre has been opened to provide correct information and support to the guests who will come to the city to attend the PBD. Around 7,000 Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin ate expected to visit Bhubaneswar for the event, according to a release from chief minister’s office (CMO) on Saturday.
Anyone can call 1929 to connect to the Central Command Control Centre and get appropriate response. An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is being developed to route calls pertaining to the PBD.
Officials from Health & Family Welfare department, TPCODL, WATCO, BSNL, Police, Fire Services, Tourism Department, Transport Department, BDA and BMC will be deployed in the Command Centre.
