Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday directed the COVID-19 vaccination of all persons engaged in essential services such as electricity, water supply and road transport.
The directive came after a steering committee meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra at the Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Talking to the media later, Additional Chief Secretary (Health), Pradipta Mohapatra said he has directed District Collectors, Municipal commissioners and Chief District Medical & Public Health Officers (CDM & PHOs) to ensure the vaccination of the above categories through on-the-spot registration on the Co-WIN portal at the COVID vaccination centres.
