Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has issued order to the district authorities to remove the 5T Charter Boards from all high schools under the transformation scheme.
In an official letter issued on Thursday, Parul Patawari, state project director, OSEPA & member secretary, Mo School, directed all district education officers (DEOs) to remove the 5T Charter Boards in all High School Transformation (HST) schools.
“As per the directions received from Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Principal Secretary, you are instructed to remove the 5T Charter Boards in all HST schools with immediate effect,” the letter stated.
Earlier, the I & PR department had issued a clarification on the purported government’s order on removal of 5T Charter and Mo Sarkar boards, which were introduced by the previous Biju Janata Dal (BJD) regime in the state.
“The news item with regard to ‘Mo Sarkar’ & 5T posted reportedly on the social media account (X) “Mohanmajhi_bjp” is not based upon fact,” it posted on X.
The department issued the clarification after it was reported that it had directed immediate removal of 5T Charter and Mo Sarkar boards from all government offices in the state. It said the information was posted on the fake Facebook account of chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi and shared details of his official social media handles.
