Odisha Govt Panel Approves 12 Projects With Rs 2,794 Crore Investment

Bhubaneswar: The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Odisha on Tuesday approved 12 projects with a combined investment of Rs 2,794.47 crore in various sectors.

The SLSWCA approved the project approvals, which would generate employment for approximately 4,715 individuals, at its 123rd meeting chaired by chief secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena in Bhubaneswar.

The projects have been proposed in semiconductor and ESDM, aluminium, steel (both downstream and primary), gemstone, food, beverage and allied sectors and tourism across 7 districts. Following projects were approved at the SLSWCA meeting:

  • RIR Power Electronics Ltd to invest Rs 510.80 crore for establishment of manufacturing fabrication and packaging facility for silico carbide devices and SIC modules in semi-conductor and ESDM sector in Khurda, InfoValley.
  • Nuvo Aeon Diamond and Jewellery to set up state-of-the-art lab-grown diamond and jewellery manufacturing facility in Khurda with an investment of Rs 256.50 crores.
  • Four Star Metaliks Pvt Ltd, KhedariaIspat Ltd, New Laxmi Steel & Power Pvt Ltd and Abhirav Industries Pvt Ltd to set up steel industries with about Rs 900 crores in Jajpur and Sundargarh.
  • Utkal Phosphates Pvt Ltd to invest Rs 62.07 crore to set up a manufacturing unit of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) & Granulated Single Super Phosphate (
    GSSP) fertilizer unit with annual capacity of 1,20,000 MT in Jagatsinghpur.
  • Hindalco Industries Ltd to invest Rs 834.00 crore in aluminium downstream sector, specifically for the establishment of an aluminum battery foil manufacturing facility in Sambalpur.
  • Narayani Green Pack will set up a corrugated paper and paper board containers manufacturing facility for Nestle in Khurda with an investment of Rs 50.84 crore.
  • Maa Tarini Roller Flour Mills will invest Rs 58.30 crore on fully automated flour mill in Khurda while Milk Mantra set up a manufacturing unit for diary products in Puri with Rs 51.10 crore.
  • Mayfair Hotels and Resorts Ltd to investment Rs 73 crore in Jharsuguda.
