Odisha Govt Posts 20 Associate & Assistant Profs Of Ophthalmology In 6 MCHs

Bhubaneswar: Ten ophthalmologists have been posted in medical college and hospitals (MCHs) across Odisha as Assistant Professors under Odisha Medical Education Service (OMES) cadre, Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted on Saturday.

“This will strengthen the medical education in the state,” it added.

On Friday, 10 associate professors of ophthalmology were posted in SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital, Balasore, Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital, Baripada, Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital, Balangir, Sri Jagannath Medical College and Hospital, Puri and MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur.

The department has asked the new appointees to join their places of posting within 30 days.
