Cuttack: An Internal Committee of the Odisha Government Press at Cuttack has filed a case with Madhupatna police against one of its staffers over allegations of molestation.
According to reports, the staffer, a junior reader in the Binding Section allegedly molested an apprentice on the pretext of dropping her home. While the incident allegedly took place on July 16, two days later, the girl lodged a complaint with vice principal of the School of Printing and Allied Teachers (SPAT).
SPAT constituted an internal committee which inquired into the matter and ascertained that the junior reader was guilty. He was involved in similar acts earlier, the committee discovered. Following this, a complaint was filed with Madhupatna police which has launched an investigation into the matter.
