Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has promoted two IPS officers of 2000-batch – Yatindra Koyal and Prateek Mohanty, to grade of Additional DGP.
Mohanty is on central deputation.
Similarly, 3 IPS officers of 2007 and 2011 batch each have been promoted to the grade of IGP and DIG respectively, according December 30 notification of the General Administration department.
Those promoted to IGP rank are Awinash Kumar, Dr Sarthak Sarangi and Niti Shekhar. Pinaki Mishra, Banoth Jugal Kishore Kumar and Batula Gangadhar have got the promotion to DIG rank.
