Bhubaneswar: The higher education department has released new guidelines for the examination of government universities and autonomous colleges.
The second and fourth semester examinations of the undergraduate courses and second semester examination for students of postgraduate courses will not be held in the current academic session, as per a notification of the department.

But, back papers will be held for all the students of post-graduate courses for all semesters, it added.
Sri Jagannath Sanskrit Viswavidyalaya in Puri will announce the schedule of examinations under annual system. The first year students will give regular examinations.
The second year students will be automatically promoted to third year and back papers for the intermediate years will be held as per the schedule.
