Odisha Govt Restricts Officers’ Entry Into Lok Seva Bhawan On Holidays

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has imposed restrictions on the entry of officers into Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar during holidays.

The Home department said incidents of unwanted activities in Lok Seva Bhavan premises during holidays had come to the notice of the surveillance team.

“It has been brought to notice by the security staff that some young officers coming to the secretariat are involved in these activities,” OSD-cum-Special Secretary, Home, said in a communication to all departments.

It is, therefore, requested that henceforth the secretariat admission card would not be accepted on holidays/Sundays, for entry into Lok Seva Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan and Kharavela Bhawan premises, it said.

The officers required to attend office in these premises on these days would only ne allowed to enter on the production of authorisation from the Secretary of the department concerned, the letter added.
