Bhubaneswar: In view of the searing heat conditions in the state, the Odisha government has revised the timing of Anganwadi centres.
As per a notification issued by the Women and Child Development department, the timings of the Anganwadi centres have been revised and from April 2 all the Anganwadi centres in the state will function from 7 am to 11:30 am.
The authorities have been directed to keep sufficient drinking water and ORS packets at the Anganwadi centres.
Earlier, schools across Odisha were asked to hold morning classes from April 2 due to the prevailing heatwave condition.
The classes for students from Class I to Class XII in all government, government-aided, and privately managed schools will be held from 7 am to 11.30 am from April 2.
