Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has sanctioned Rs 752 crore from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to fight against COVID-19, said Revenue minister Sudam Marandi.
Replying to a question by the BJD member Debi Prasad Mishra in the State Assembly, he said that the Health Department has been provided with Rs 395 crore while the Panchayati Raj Department has received Rs 239 crore. Besides, Rs 96 crore has been allotted to 30 districts.
The minister further said that the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) till September 10 has issued 100 directives relating to the COVID-19 management.
