Odisha Govt Seeks People’s Suggestion For Annual State Budget

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday requested people from all sections and communities to give their suggestions for preparation of the annual budget for 2019-20 fiscal.

Briefing the media at the State Secretariat here, Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari requested the people, civil society organisations, advocacy groups and other stakeholders to participate in the budget-making process of the state government.

He also informed that the Finance Department has opened a web portal www.budget.odisha.gov.in where the people can submit their suggestions.

Apart from this, the people can also send their suggestions through WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS to mobile number (+91)9438161111. This facility will be available from June 4 to 15, the minister added.
