Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday took over the management of Ram Mandir here.
The Ram Mandir Trust handed over the management to the Endowment Department, which appointed Bimal Patra as the executive officer of the Trust.
Notably, the Orissa High Court had constituted a four-member team to visit the Ram Mandir to study the management of the temple and submit a report.
On the basis of the report, the court had directed the state government to take over the management of the temple.
