Bhubaneswar: In order to strengthen the health services, the Odisha government has decided to appoint more than 2000 doctors and dentists in its hospitals.
It was revealed at a meeting where chief minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the progress of infrastructure development of 9 medical colleges and modernisation of 5 district headquarters hospital in the state with top officers here on Tuesday.
The cardiac care hospital in Jharsuguda, Multi Utility Complex for PG students at Sishu Bhavan in Cuttack, LINAC Block in Ahcrya Harihar Cancer Hospital in Cuttack, Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar and cancer hospital in Bargarh also featured in the meeting.
The chief minister directed to complete all health care projects within deadline through coordination of the departments concerned.
