Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is set to disburse the fourth phase money of the first instalment under the Subhadra Yojana on February 8.
Announcing this on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said the disbursement of the fourth phase money will be held in Jajpur. A special function will be organised at Jajpur for the disbursal of the fourth phase assistance to eligible beneficiaries under the scheme.
Around 20 lakh beneficiaries will receive the money under the scheme in the next round on February 8, she said.
Parida, who holds Women and Child Development portfolio, urged eligible beneficiaries to complete necessary formalities, including National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) verification and e-KYC updates, by visiting their respective bank branches before February 4.
Completion of these processes would facilitate the seamless transfer of funds directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts, the Deputy CM said.
The government has set February 3 and February 4 for beneficiaries to visit their banks for NPCI verification ahead of the fund release in the next phase. “This apart, the beneficiaries should also complete their e-KYC formalities to receive the financial assistance on February 8,” she said.
