Odisha Govt To Engage Post-PG Doctors In COVID-19 Services

Bhubaneswar: With the number of COVID-19 positive cases rising everyday and pressure mounting on the doctors and health workers, the state government has decided to engage post-PG doctors in the fight against the pandemic.

Additional chief secretary, Health Pradipta Mohapatra has directed the deans and principals of S


CB, MKCG, VIMSAR medical colleges to avail the services of post-PG doctors in different institutions in COVID-19 related medical works.

As many as 447 post-PG doctors are now posted at various medical colleges and nearby areas for a period of two years as part of bond conditions.
