Bhubaneswar: In view of the lockdown, the Odisha Govt will provide online training to candidates selected in the Odisha Civil Services Exam – 2018, I&PR department tweeted on Monday.
Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy reviewed the overall preparedness. The institutes that will impart the training are Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Madhusudan Das Regional Academy of Financial Management, Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Madhusudan Institute of Cooperative Management and Revenue Officers Training Institute ( ROTI).
Tripathy asked the directors of the institutes to work together and prepare online teaching contents along with evaluation modules. The online training courses are expected to start from August 4.
Around 60 candidates have been selected for OAS (Odisha Administrative Service), 61 for ORS (Odisha Revenue Service), 15 for OPS (Odisha Police Service), 31 for OT & AS (Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service), 6 selected for ARCS (Asst. Registrar of Co-Operative) and 16 for OES (Odisha Education Service) for the year 2018.
