Odisha Govt To Recruit Associate Professors For 11 State-Run Universities; Check Details Here

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to recruit associate professors for 11 state-run universities.

In this connection, the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited online applications from the candidates for 320 existing vacant posts, which include 12 for PWD (persons with disabilities).

The interested candidates have to apply through the OPSC website http://opsc.gov.in

The link for the registration, re-registration and payment of examination fee will be available on the website of the Commission from July 23 to August 23 while the last date for submission of the registered application is August 31.

Age limit
The candidates must have attained the age of 21 years by January 1, 2021, while the date of birth entered in the High School Certificate or equivalent certificate issued by the concerned Board/Council will only be accepted by the Commission.

Educational Qualification
The candidate must have a good academic record with a PhD. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines, a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed), a minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of assistant professor in a university, college or accredited research institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75.

Application Fee
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable application fee of Rs 400. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only and persons with disability (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.
