Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government will “thoroughly deliberate” on the implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP)-2020 in the state, Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahu said.
The minister said that some of the new policies are available on the official websites of the UGC and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). After all the policy decisions are available, the state government will have a detailed review regarding the NEP’s benefits to students in Odisha.
On the reopening of universities and colleges, Sahu said the state government was strictly adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines which are being revised by the Centre in a phased manner. The state government will take a decision in this regard considering the health safety of the students, he added.
