Bhubaneswar: In a rare move, the Odisha government has shifted 295 OAS officers from their present posts and posted them in new posts.
According to a notification issued by Panchayatiraj and DW department on Tuesday, 106 OAS officers have been transferred and posted as BDOs of different blocks in the state.
The collectors of respective districts have been requested to relieve the officers under orders of transfer immediately by local arrangement without waiting for substitute, the notification stated.
Similarly, a notification of Revenue and Disaster Management department stated that 189 OAS officers have been transferred and appointed in different posts.
