Bhubaneswar: The state government on Tuesday transferred some Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers and gave them new appointments.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, four OAS officers have been transferred and given new postings.

1.Sangram Sekhar Panda, OAS (SAG), Registrar (Administration), MKCG Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur is transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Padampur, Bargarh
In exercise of powers conferred under Sub Section-2 of Section-14 of the Bharatiya Nagank Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Sangram Sekhar Panda, OAS (SAG), as the Additional District Magistrate, Padampur in the district of Bargarh.
2.Dukhabandhu Nayak, OAS (S) Joint Secretary of Higher Education Department is transferred and posted as Additional District Magistrate, Mayurbhanj.
In exercise of powers conferred under Sub Section-2 of Section-14 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the State Government do hereby appoint Dukhabandhu Nayak, OAS (S), as the Additional District Magistrate, Mayurbhanj in the district of Mayurbhanj.
3.Paresh Kumar Nayak OAS (S). Deputy Commissioner, Enforcement, BDA, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department.
4.Yudhistir Meher, OAS Gr.A (SB), Ex-BDO, Boudh UoT as Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang is posted as Additional Sub-Collector, Anandpur, Keonjhar.
The posting of Yudhistir Meher, OAS Gr.A (SB) as Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Sarang, made vide GA & PG Department Notification No. 17413/SCS dated 23.05.2025, is hereby cancelled.
Additionally, the notification further said that the posting of Mani Prasad Misra, OAS Gr.A (SB), OSD, Panchasakha Sikhya Setu under S & ME Department UoT as Additional Sub-Collector, Anandapur made vide GA & PG Department Notification no.25278/SCS dated 24.07.2025, is hereby cancelled.
