Bhubaneswar: Security has been tightened in Malkangiri ahead of Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal visit on Monday.
The Governor will first arrive at the Malkangiri BSF camp and attend a meeting there. He is scheduled to visit Korukunda and Balimela blocks, a Saraswati Shishu Mandir and interact with Anganwadi workers the same day.
“Plice officers, including eight DSPs, eight inspectors and nine sub-inspectors, have been deployed, along with 14 platoons of force. Route line, traffic and crowd control arrangements have also been done at the venues. We have also been conducting anti-Maoist operations in the region,” said Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena.
