Dhenkanal: A private nursing home in Odisha’s Dhenkanal town was sealed following allegations of negligence in treatment and forgery in Biju Kalyan Swasthya Yojana (BKSY).
According to sources, Collector Saroj Kumar Sethi ordered for closure of the health facility after documents with forged signatures of doctors were seized during a raid conducted by the CDMO and inquiry team submitted details regarding frogery in BSKY cards.
The raid was conducted after a patient admitted to the nursing home under BKSY died due to alleged negligence in treatment. It also was alleged that funds under the scheme were being embezzled using forged signatures.
