Bhubaneswar: Odisha cadre IAS officer Usha Padhee will continue to serve in the Government of India for two more years.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Aviation for extension of her central deputation for a period of two years, an official notification said.
Her tenure in central depuration was to end on July 16.
The 1996-batch officer is serving as aviation ministry joint secretary. She is the key official in charge of UDAN and normalisation of domestic flights amid COVID-19 lockdown.
