Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday promoted two senior IAS officers, Arabinda Kumar Padhee and Sushil Kumar Lohani, to the Apex Grade, effective January 1, 2026.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department of the state government today issued a notification in this regard.
Padhee, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) and will continue in his current position until further orders.
He is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, and chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
Sushil Kumar Lohani, a 1995-batch IAS officer, has been granted proforma promotion to the Apex Grade – Level-17 on the pay matrix in IAS.
