Bhubaneswar: Chief Naveen Patnaik on Friday appointed five probationer IAS officers to be in charge of the various government projects in Puri to make the pilgrim town a world heritage city.
The five probationer IAS officers of the 2018 batch are Suryawanshi Mayur Vikas, J Sonal, Keerthi Vasan V, Subhankar Mohapatra and Bhuvnesh Devidas Patil.
The five IAS officers will also assist the Puri Collector, Balwant Singh, to expedite the project works.
Before leaving for Puri, the chief advisor in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), R Balakrishnan, and the secretary (Transformation and Initiatives) to the CM, V Karthikeyan Pandian, apprised the five IAS officers of their responsibility and advised them to work with dedication to make the ambitious project successful.
