Balasore: The Vigilance sleuths on Thursday arrested Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Supervisor of Berhampur sector in Balasore district, Subarna Singh for taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an anganwadi worker.
The anganwadi worker had lodged a complaint with the Vigilance against Singh alleging that the latter had demanded money for verification of documents of his cousin, a newly-appointed anganwadi worker.
Basing on the complaint, Vigilance officials laid a trap and caught Singh red-handed while she was accepting the bribe money from the complainant.
Vigilance officials have launched searches at his residence and office, stated reports.
