Director General of Forests Siddhanta Das and Additional Director General of Forests Saibal Dasgupta have been appointed as expert members to National Green Tribunal for five years.
Das, a 1982-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, earlier served as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Wildlife in Odisha. He was also Managing Director of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.
