Bhubaneswar: A day after Swasti Singh clinched the gold medal with a national record and Khoirom Rejiya Devi secured bronze in the Women’s Individual Pursuit event at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, Odisha cyclists added a silver on Wednesday.
The Odisha team finished second in the Women’s Elite Team Pursuit.
Odisha’s rowers put a fine show too.
The Men’s Double Scull team, comprising Parminder Singh and Satnam Singh, earned silver on Wednesday.
The Women’s Coxless Four team gave Odisha another silver by finishing second in the race.
Odisha, with 20 medals – 5 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze – are in 14th place as of now. Karnataka (54 medals, 28 gold) and Services (46 medals, 26 gold) occupy the top two places.
The 38th National Games, which started on January 28, will run through February 14.
