Bhubaneswar: Swimmers fetched Odisha a gold and a bronze at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand on Thursday.
The team of Pratyasa Ray, Mannata Mishra, Divyanka Pradhan and Shristi Upadhaya won the 4x100m Women’s Medley Relay event at Haldwani.
Divyanka won a second medal, a bronze, in the 200m Women’s Breaststroke.
A day earlier, Shristi Upadhyay won Odisha’s first medal of the Games when she claimed bronze in Women’s 100m Butterfly event.
In team competitions, too, Odisha women moved closer to medal rounds.
The Kho-Kho team beat Delhi 30-21 to seal a semifinal berth.
In Women’s Rugby, Odisha outplayed Tamil Nadu 54-0 to also storm into the last-four stage.
