Bhubaneswar: Odisha achieved a record number of 47,887 COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours, Additional Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Pradipta Mahapatra said on Saturday.
Mahapatra informed that the total tests conducted on Friday included 40,761 antigen, 7000 RT-PCR and and 126 TrueNat tests.
Efforts are on to conduct 50,000 tests per day in the state by the end of August, he added.
