Bhubaneswar: Well-known industrialist of Odisha and chairman of the Falcon Group Tara Ranjan Patnaik has been admitted to Apollo Hospital, here following complaint of cardiac problem.
Patnaik was hospitalised after he complained of breathlessness and acute pain on Wednesday. He has been on ventilator support owing to pulmonary failure at the Cardiology ICU of the hospital and is showing steady signs of improvement.
The medical team monitoring the condition of the ailing Falcon patriarch said his condition was critical but stable.
The industrialist’s son Parthajeet Patnaik, in a message to the company, said, “My father continues to be in a critical condition. I am thankful to the doctors for their swift response and medical care. Requesting all of you to pray for his speedy recovery.”
