Bhubaneswar: Befriending someone on Facebook! Think twice as it could also be a fake account of someone you know.
DIG (Intelligence) Anup Sahoo came across a fake account on Facebook with his profile picture. He was quick to warn people against accepting friend request from this account.
Though the fake account has been created in the name of some Anupam Kumar Sahoo, the miscreants have uploaded some photographs of the senior cop, which can mislead people.
The former Bhubaneswar DCP also urged people to be cautious about such mischievous elements on social media.
The profile, however, has now been deleted.
