Sundargarh: The COVID-19 surge in Sundargarh saw the district reporting the highest of 147 cases in Odisha on Wednesday. Sundargarh SP Sagarika Nath is reportedly among those who have contracted the virus recently.
According to sources, the IPS officer has isolated herself at her official quarters after testing positive.
Sundargarh is among the 10 districts, bordering COVID resurgence epicentre Chhattisgarh, where night curfew is been enforced since Monday to contain the spread of the virus.
