Bhubaneswar: In a reshuffle in the IPS cadre, the Odisha government on Tuesday appointed AM Prasad, HRPC Special DGP, as DG of Prisons and Director of Correctional Services.
Umashankar Dash, who is currently serving as Additional CP of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police, has been posted as DIG of the Special Intelligence Wing (SIW), according to notification issued by the Home Department.
Arun Kumar Ray, currently posted as the OSD in Home Department, has been appointed Director of Printing, Stationary & Publication, Cuttack. He will replace Lalit Das, who has been appointed as the Additional DGP of HRPC.
Similarly, IPS Officer Brijesh Kumar Rai, who is at DIG Headquarters, has been posted as Additional CP of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police.
