Bhubaneswar: Odisha IT Secretary Manoj Mishra has been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.
Apart from Mishra, two other officers– S Anwar Hussain and Prithul Kumar– of the 2000-batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) have been empanelled, an official notification said.
With this, he can now hold a post equivalent to the rank of Joint Secretary.
Mishra was appointed as Secretary, Electronics & IT, in 2019 and has been serving as Secretary, Science and Technology Department, since 2021 and Special Secretary & Commissioner Rail Coordination since 2015.
