Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Janta Congress (OJC) on Wednesday nominated senior leaders as heads of four important wings of the party with an aim to strengthen the organisation.
OJC president Mohammed Moquim has made the key appointments for the women, youth, & farmer wings and Seva Sangathan of t
he regional party.
According to party sources, Shailabala Jena has been nominated as the president of Odisha Mahila Janta Congress with an aim to organise women to sharpen the party’s fight against rising violence and atrocities against women in the state.
Similarly, Sangram Kishore Majhi has been named as the chairman of Odisha Krushaka Janta Congress as the party is keen to work for safeguarding the interests of the farming community.
While Aryaveer Lenka has been nominated as the president of Odisha Yuva Janta Congress, Manoj Jena has been named the chairman of the party’s Seva Sangathan.
It may be noted that OJC is a regional political party in Odisha, officially launched on April 15, 2026, by former Congress leader Mohammed Moquim.
The party was founded following Moquim’s expulsion from the Indian National Congress in December 2025, positioning itself as a youth-focused alternative to the BJP, BJD, and Congress.
