Gangtok: An Odia Army personnel was among the five persons killed in a road mishap near Nathula in Sikkim.
As per reports, Yajnya Narayan Kar from Athagadapatna village under Kabisuryanagar police limits in Ganjam was travelling in an Army vehicle with four others last night when the vehicle skidded off a snow-covered road near Nathula, and fell 800 feet into a gorge.
The bodies of the soldiers have been recovered from the ill-fated vehicle after long search, said local police.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, as per a report in TimesNowNews.
